The original idea of Tron Lanh wanted to spread the spirit of circularity through another expression. If it's not courses, it's not Tea Talk or Experiential Workshop, then what could it be? And from there, this set of 30-minute Open Words ® cards was born.
What's in the 30-minute Open Word® card set?
When you open the card set, through the instruction sheet you will see many different card groups, from Consensus group, 30 minute group to check-in, check-out and other question groups. Perhaps you will be a bit confused because you don't know where to start, which group to play first and which group to play next. Then I will show you the simplest way to play this set of cards right away.
The most important tag group is the Consensus group: these are what will make your conversations safer and more open. So before starting, read this group of cards for everyone to know and commit to practicing together during the conversation.
After that, the simplest way is to randomly draw question cards one by one to chat together, or depending on the group of people you are chatting with, you can choose the appropriate group of questions. Descriptions for each group of questions can be found in the instruction sheet.
For example: I met a group of 4 old colleagues after half a year of quitting my job. After reading the Consensus card group for everyone to grasp, I chose the Late card group, because the players hadn't seen each other for a long time. So I would like to ask and know more about what happened and changed during that time with my friends.
Is there any other way to play?
If you want to try a different way of playing, after going through the Consensus card group, warm up with the Check-in card group to see how your friends are feeling sitting here. And when finished, end with the Check-out group to wrap up the conversation, to know if you've heard anything new from your friends. It will be even more fun if you use alternating groups of 30 Minute cards to refresh or change the mood a bit.
Either way, give it a try :)
